ABOUT ALYSSA
Alyssa Fraser (she/they) is a Chicago-born actor and author. They first stepped foot on a stage at age 6 and have since refused to leave. Alyssa has performed everywhere from community theatre to the Edinburgh Fringe, with favorite roles including Olympe de Gouges (The Revolutionists), Henrietta Leavitt (Silent Sky) and Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice). After a rewarding detour into a successful career as an author — writing as Alyssa Zaczek, her debut middle grade novel MARTIN MCLEAN, MIDDLE SCHOOL QUEENwas published in Jan. 2020 by Union Square Kids, and received a Kirkus star; her debut YA graphic novel MEAT CUTE is coming Fall 2028 from First Second — Alyssa is now a multi-hyphenate creative bringing her charisma, smarts, and wicked sense of humor to theatre, TV, film, commercial, and voiceover. A consummate professional, Alyssa thrives on creative collaboration, bringing authenticity and a spirit of artistic curiosity to every role.
