ABOUT ALYSSA


Alyssa Fraser (she/they) is a Chicago-born actor and author. They first stepped foot on a stage at age 6 and have since refused to leave. Alyssa has performed everywhere from community theatre to the Edinburgh Fringe, with favorite roles including Henrietta Leavitt (Silent Sky) and Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice). After a rewarding detour into a successful career as an author (writing as Alyssa Zaczek, her debut middle grade novel MARTIN MCLEAN, MIDDLE SCHOOL QUEEN was published in Jan. 2020 by Union Square Kids, and received a Kirkus star; her debut YA graphic novel MEAT CUTE is forthcoming from First Second), Alyssa is now a multi-hyphenate creative bringing her charisma, smarts, and wicked sense of humor to TV, film, commercial, and voiceover. A consummate professional, Alyssa thrives on creative collaboration, bringing authenticity and a spirit of artistic curiosity to every role.
